Progress is a wonderful thing but, particularly in the world of electrical technology, progress in one area can produce significant challenges in another.

Back in the Pleistocene era of electrical equipment development – in 1889, to be precise – the first in the genus ‘insulation tester’ was developed by Sidney Evershed, who subsequently trademarked the Megger brand in London in 1903.

The Baltic 2 wind farm, formerly known as Kriegers Flak, is the second German offshore wind farm to be built in the Baltic Sea. It will ultimately incorporate 80 wind turbines with a total generating capacity of 288 MW.
